Restorative dental teaching model for patient education
This upper jaw model enables the dental operator to explain in detail the proposed advanced restorative techniques to patients in the Dental surgery.
The following teeth on the model have various types of fillings shown, the 16 has a composite restoration and 17 has amalgam restoration, whilst the 26 has a gold inlay indicated.
There is an adhesive bridge on 23 replacing 22.
Included in the model is a fixed/fixed bridge replacing 14, which may be removed to demonstrate the principles of dental bridge preparation on 13 & 15, and a labial veneer can be removed from 11.
The 21 has a porcelain crown, which is removable to expose the post.
The 25 is an implant retained crown with removable gingival and bone section to reveal the implant in situ.
The soft flange of the model may be used to demonstrate probing techniques.
The model may also be used to demonstrate the use of various oral hygiene aids especially around the crowns bridges and implant.
