Orthodontic Model

Both upper and lower models have full arch wires with coloured brackets. They demonstrate an actual case with the genuine orthodontic brackets and wire. It is a dental educational model for prospective patients, enabling them to see the appearance, and understand the complexity of the appliance. The proposed treatment may be explained, using the models as an example. The care and maintenance required may also be demonstrated to the patient, and perhaps also to the carer.

The models can play a vital role in oral hygiene instruction, enabling the patient to see where difficulties could arise, and giving them the knowledge and skills necessary to overcome these difficulties.
